Positive psychology can help you feel better

Baltimore Magazine has a new publication called Baltimore BE, which is focused on mental health. I was featured as an expert on the psychology of happiness, a course that I previously taught at the University of Maryland. We can all intentionally nurture human strengths like compassion, gratitude, empathy, and kindness for the benefit of ourselves, others, and our precious planet. This article details how I got interested in positive psychology through a combination of playing NCAA Division 1 golf, a Buddhist studies class, and an interest in psychology.
